We are Erol Bay (26) and Dani Hartung (29) – both born and raised in Kempten, friends for ten years and a team ever since. Dani has worked in real estate for 13 years, including as managing director of several companies, and has been a photographer for over 12 years – his images have been published in magazines worldwide. The €500 referral bonus becomes payable once a notarised purchase contract for the recommended property has been concluded through the brokerage of BayD Immobilien and our commission has been received. Conditions: the owner was not previously known to us and has agreed to be contacted. One bonus is paid per property; the first referral received counts. Payment within 14 days. What are the additional costs when buying property in Bavaria?

Real estate transfer tax (Grunderwerbsteuer) in Bavaria is 3.5%. Notary and land registry fees add roughly 1.5–2%, plus the agent's commission where applicable.

Can foreigners buy property in Germany?

Yes. There are generally no restrictions on foreigners buying residential property in Germany. The purchase is completed in front of a German notary; we explain every document and can help you find an interpreter for the notary appointment.
